FAQs
Q: How are the MP3s encoded and what quality are they?
A: All MP3s are encoded at the maximum bitrate of 320kbps using LAME, which is widely regarded by most audiophiles as the highest quality MP3 encoder available.
Q: Are the audio clips the same quality as the final MP3?
A: Yes.
Q: What are FLACs and how do I use them?
A: FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec. Essentially FLACs are similar to MP3s, but lossless meaning that audio is compressed without any loss in quality whatsoever. It works in much the same way as Zip or Stuffit, only with FLAC you get much better compression because it is designed specifically for audio. You can play FLAC files directly using many audio players, or you can use Windows or Mac applications to expand files back to the original 16 bit WAV. These, in turn, can be played back on virtually every audio player under the sun without any loss in audio quality – You get what the artist mastered for CD. For more info on FLACs click here.
Q: How will I receive my downloads?
A: One you have completed the purchase a unique link will be sent to the email address you submitted via Paypal. Simply check your inbox, find the email from us and click the link to download your files. You will be able to download the file a maximum of 3 times in the space of 24hours.
Q: I've bought my downloads, but when I use the email link I get an 'Internal Server Error'.
A: This occasionally happens when people download larger files (complete EPs and albums), which at busy times can overload our server. If this should happen email us and we will resend the link within 24 hours.
