Reviews: DJ Magazine Issue 469 (01/09) Pyramid's latest release gets off to an understated start, with the offbeat, atmospheric 'Battle Gongs'. However, London producer Lone Shark quickly ups the tempo with the dense, dancefloor inflections of 'D-Spot' and 'Krunk', which flits from 4/4s to breaks and back again to an intricate percussive backdrop. Best of all though is 'Pirates', where Lone Shark marries the sweet melodies of '90s electronica with lithe, hyper-speed breaks. ****1/2 - Electro 'Money Shot'
